Swing and a Miss

The design of these is beautiful and classy, but these are not a comfortable trouser. They're a hard, itchy, thin wool. I am not even a sensitive person to fabrics - I have a higher than average tolerance for wools, but these felt awful on my skin. I could have taken them to the tailor and had him line them, but it's a pricey alteration for a piece I didn't love. I also didn't like that these had belt loops; felt that made them feel more casual than I was intending for. Again, love the concept of these, but Ralph Lauren needs to step up the game in terms of construction as these were clearly a fast fashion machine made slack and little else. Fit true to size.
