Mixed review

Once installed the infant support does its job well, it is a much better seated position for my baby to eat solids. Now, the installation was not 3-5 minutes as the video tutorial states. It is complicated to install as everything does not line up perfectly, you need to have pretty good arm strength to be able to install this. It kept sliding back and forth, once you get one thing locked in and try to lock in the other, the first thing pops out, that was very annoying. The design would benefit from some rethinking, to avoid this annoyance. Further, why is this not just included in the purchase of the high chair?! The chair itself is so expensive, and all the ways you can convert it need separate purchases or a bundle for even more money?! That’s insane to me, as the average person this is not ideal. Most of the tops reviews are for the aesthetic of it, which it is nice looking but the chair needs to be able to support a baby properly from the jump. So, to future buyers of this chair just get the bundle, it’s more expensive but the infant support is necessary.

A must!

We used the lalo chair for our first child, and loved it, but she was small, and we had to help her stay close to the tray with a small pillow. When I saw this infant support piece had been added to the website when looking at options for our second child, I bought it in hopes it would solve our issue. To say we’ve been pleased would be an understatement. It has completely solved our problem for our small kids, and I only wish we’d had it for our first. 10/10 recommend.

Excited to start solids!

Fits nicely and really helps my 5 month old sit up straighter and get ready for eating solids. Very easy to install and I am impressed that the seat covers still fit with insert in place. It still looks nice though if you aren't using a cover. The straps also fit nicely in place so they are comfortable for baby.
