This is the best foundation I have used.
I have been using this foundation for a few years & have tried other brands but could never find any other brands that are better than La Mer's treatment fluid foundation. It is moisturizing enough for my skin, it leaves a very natural finish on my skin which I can't find in all of the other brands that I have tried. This is the reason for me to continue using La Mer's foundation although expensive.

No coverage
I was looking for a foundation with coverage that would last the day. This was not it for me. I use many La Mer products and have always loved them.

Very lightweight
I have used Creme de la Mer foundation in the past. I didn't like it - it was thick, cake like and made me look like a badly made up clown. I was reluctant to try this. I like very fine and light make up. In fact I have always used Creme de la Mer tint with powder. But they don't make this anymore, so I reluctantly tried this product. I was not disappointed, it's is VERY light and a tiny bit goes a very long way. If you prefer the natural look then this is definitely for you, but if you like to look fully made up and caked- don't bother!

Needs more coverage
Really good product which makes your skin silky smooth. You can see the benefits to using this product after a couple of days. The only thing that could be improved is the level of coverage - it is translucent at best and will not cover any blemishes etc. If you're looking for more coverage for problem areas or a more 'made-up' look for a night out then you may need to put another foundation on top. If Creme de la Mer could make this with a little more coverage it would be ideal.

Perfect for summer - Could use some shade adjustment though...
It took me two attempts to get the shade right as I am very pale skinned. Consequently I tend to only use this in the summer when my skin tone is a little more tanned, which is a shame as the texture and benefit to my skin would be great through winter too! I particularly like the fact that it provides hydration and a skin care benefit as well as achieving good coverage that can be built up as desired. The texture is fairly light but with good coverage. I do recommend using the foundation brush to apply as you can get in and around the eye area better and also will find it makes your foundation go a long, long way. You literally only need to use a tiny dab dispensed on the back of your hand or onto the brush. Do always shake the bottle before use as the liquid does separate a little if left standing and, like me, you don't use every day. The only reason I haven't given this 'excellent' as a rating is because I do think that the colour shades need revising. It would be good to see the shades include ones suitable for paler complexions.

LaMer Moisturizing Creme- & Treatment Fluid Foundation
I have been using the above products and find them to be easy to apply, looks good when applied. I have been a happy user for 25 years.

The best foundation but..
Please come out with a lighter tone. The lightest you have is still to dark for my skin :(
