I'VE GONE BACK TO THE ORIGINAL CREAM

I use the original cream at night when my skin is dry, so hoped this would give that extra night time hydration with extra active ingredients. Sadly, it is no where near as rich as the original cream - it's more of a soufflé texture - so I needed keep reapplying to get any real hydration. I've gone back to the original cream. I tried the new night recovery concentrate which I love - this night cream is far better for me - but I can't justify the price.

Overpriced

Not too keen on this for the price. It feels fairly luxurious and is nice to use, and it’s nice to not have to use a separate retinol, but I don’t see any effects. Overall I’m finding the la mer products underwhelming and probably more about the brand and the packaging. Soft creme is probably the only standout product. Wouldn’t repurchase this one.

Better than expected

I have used the original moisturiser for thirty years, always at night. I was recently given a sample of the night cream to try - I was sceptical and didn’t think it would warrant the extra price. However, I was wrong, after using for a week my mature skin felt more hydrated and glowing. I took advantage of the Black Friday discount and am looking forward to giving this cream a longer trial.

Watch out for defective jars and do not stock up!

Beware of stocking up when there is a Loyallist discount, Bloomingdales is not loyal to you! I opened a new wrapped $400 jar Lamer Rejuvenating Night Cream only to find the lid loose and the product drying out inside. Obviously it was a quality control issue at Lamer. I purchased the jar before I needed it only because I received a Loyallist discount but did not unwrap and open until last night. Too bad for me because I am 10 days past the return window and it doesn't matter to Bloomingdales how much Lamer I have purchased in the past and how good of a Loyallist customer that I am, nor that I am out $400 for a defective product, they would not allow a return or exchange. So do not fall for the stock up hype and make sure to check your products while you can still return them. Taking my business to Nordstrom and Macys in hopes of better customer service if I ever need it again. I had a small sample jar of the same product and you can see in the pictures how a fresh product should look.

Absolutely Love this moisturizer

I’m obsessed with this moisturizer! Yeah, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it. My skin is super sensitive, and I’ve tried a ton of moisturizers that just leave me looking patchy red. But this one It’s amazing! I wake up with nice glow.
