Nice silk dress but gold foil flowers iffy

It's a fun summer dress but it has gold flowers that don't really show up in the picture. They were very distracting and almost cheapened the look of the dress. It was like foil was ironed on to the silk dress. Overall I got over it after asking for others opinions and it looked fine. However, the gold was coming off the silk dress. I saw pieces of gold on the couches that had come of the dress
