Grainy and Chunky
Why mess with a good thing? Purchased the new formula in August, didn’t love it and put it to the side. Pulled it out today to give it another try. It’s HORRIBLE, I had to toss it in the trash. It’s actually a grainy and chunky texture now. The old formula would NEVER have done this, it was always smooth and luxurious. The new formula was a waste of money. So sad, it was always on my list of favorite things.

Awful New Formula
Terrible! The new formula is thin, non-moisturizing and has to be constantly reapplied. This had been my favorite lip balm for more than a decade. Why change it? I'm very disappointed and won't be coming back. You have lost me as a customer.

The new formula does absolutely nothing for my lips. It's so much thinner and not as emollient as the original, and I feel like it leaves my lips drier than before I applied. Now to find another favorite lip balm

Lip balm
It moisturizes my lips extremely well. The balm is soft, melts quickly, and makes my dry, chapped lips feel instantly smooth. It has no color, no unpleasant scent, and stays on for hours. It works great in winter. A small tube, but it lasts a long time.

Please Add an applicator tip!!!
This product is okay. It feels nice on my lips but the effect doesn’t last long. I wish it had an actual applicator tip rather than needing to use my finger. Sometimes I’d reach for other products in order to not use my finger after say utilizing public transport :(

It works great. Easy to use and carry around. Better than chap stick IMO.

It is awful now - it used to be the best
I have been using Kiehl’s no. 1 lip balm for years from when it was in a jar. It kept my lips healthy and moisturised all day. I purchased it again recently and the formula has completely changed. I tried it to give it a chance but it left my lips dry, tight and chapped and I was reapplying throughout the day (which I hate). Why change the formula? Chanel no. 5 is still Chanel no. 5 - because it is iconic. Kiehl’s no.1 lip balm should still be ‘Kiehl’s No.1 lip balm’. It was iconic but it no longer is. Change the formula back to how it was and keep the actual No.1 lip balm as No.1.

So disappointed in new formula
Like many others, I am so frustrated with this new formula!! Why change such a great thing?! My esthetician recommended this many years ago as a before bed under eye cream since I have sensitivity to many under-eye products. It was life changing because the itchiness and flakiness went away! This new formula not only doesn't help with this but also creates even more under-eye itchiness! It also has clumps and dries out my lips. I'm so disappointed! Please bring back the old formula!
