I wanted to love thse shoes

I really wanted to love these shoes. Unfortunately, the leather is very firm. I wore them for 2 days during the work week. The leather was so firm at the top of the shoe, that it rubbed the top of my foot, and I had to put them back in the closet for a week, to allow my feet to recover. And the brown leather looks cheap - too light, and not in a natural brown leather color, as pictured on the website....
