Kinda hard shoe
I walk around work a lot and am always on my feet and they said the Clifton 10s were soft and moderate but there no there just hard and hurt my feet so much more then anything

Not the same color
I bought the Clifton 10 in Rose Cream. They fit good, are true to size and are very comfortable. However, I am disappointed in the color difference. The photos show pink soles and they are actually lavender. I like purple, but was really wanting the pink that is shown in photos.

Meh
I love hoka ! I own a Bondi and speed goat. I wanted something for every day walks and thought Clifton 10 would be a good one, but it has terrible slippage. I wear a 10.5 on the other two and figured this would fit me like a glove, but terrible slippage, and I'm returning them today.

Makes feet pronate
This is supposed to be to a neutral shoe, but it actually makes my feet pronate, a lot. I've worn the shoes to the gym only for the last 2 months thinking the issue would resolve once I got used to the new shoes, but it's actually causing me knee pain. I am not the kind of person that tries to return something after I've used it, but these are supposed to be high quality and I was hoping they would stand behind their product. So I contacted HOKA and they deny there's any issue and have refused to help me. The warranty department declined help because I can't prove a material defect. How am I supposed to take a picture of the insole forcing pronation?? I will never purchase from this brand again.

I WOULD NOT BUY ANY OTHER
I've been walking 3 miles / day since July and they still feel like new! I had tried Brooks and an ON Cloud, yet they wore out soon. I bought a different Hoka style (Challenger 8) because I wanted a dark blue pair and had to return those! Nothing like a Clifton 10. I wish they had it in BLUE!

Why???
The Clifton 9s were perfect for running. The 10s are very different. They feel like bricks on my feet. My foot sloshes around. Toe box is too big. Why move to an 8mm drop? Please bring back the 9. Luckily I had a pair stashed away. I will also try the rincón. Tried the Mach but they gave me arch pain. Disclaimer: I have princess-and-the-pea feet. If you don't, maybe they will be ok for you.

Did not last
I got them as a christmas present last year and was going to use them for nursing so I didn't open them. When I did I wore them 24/7 for 6 months. Now they are breaking at the heel and giving me blisters. I LOVED these shoes but now will never buy them again bc they did not last long. When I tried to reach out for my one year warranty, I was told I couldn't get new ones because it was "wear and tear". They should not be breaking 6 months into wearing them. never again. and will NEVER recommend.

No longer biomechanically sound
The 8 and 9 were both fantastic. They had a firm bounce, low heel to toe drop, and most importantly did not have the roll front. The roll in the front prevents a proper toe off and doesn't let your body complete the kinetic chain. This affects the inside of my shin and the outside of my knee and hip. It basically doesn't allow your glute to fire properly. Yeah, it makes you feel fast because you don't have to do all of that work at the end of the movement and gives you some forward momentum, but at the expense of mechanics. Obviously, that was understood in the previous versions. This shoe is just like all the other running shoes now made because they all have that roll. It's a lot like Topos which feel great at first, but then become unwearable for me. The shoe is a little too short too. Not so short that I could comfortable size up, but shorter than the last version which makes it a little frustrating. Did someone important in product design leave the company? If you are going to make a shoe like this, just make a new shoe. Don't change a beloved product. I know so many different people that wore Clifton 9s and they worked for all of them because it encouraged proper mechanics. This is a problem. Please fix it!
