Beautiful item but plain and not warm
Coat had very clean lines and nice material but felt very thin and looked too plain. It would be best for transitional seasons as opposed to a heavier winter overcoat.
Elegant dress coat
This coat fits beautifully, but it “just” fits. Bear in mind that this is a dress coat, not a winter coat. If it fits you well, there will be little room to fit bulky clothing underneath. Do not purchase if that’s what you’re looking for. You will be disappointed. If you want an elegant dress coat to wear over dressy outfits or thinner cashmere sweaters, then you’ll likely be pleased. My shoulders are a US 6, chest is a US 8 (34D), straight (thickish in the middle) figure, 141 lbs., 5’6” and the UK 12/US8 fits exactly right. I tried the UK 14/US 10 which certainly has more room in the chest and waist/ hips, but since the shoulders are wider, the elegant lines of the coat are lost. Fabric is 100% wool-rare find. 4 stars because it’s pricey even on sale. I chose the dark purple.

Tailored & practical
This coat is perfect for my frame and function. I wanted a tailored, sophisticated coat, belt less, and lightweight as I travel extensively. It serves its purpose and very soft to the feel. Initially it seemed a bit snug in the shoulder/arm area but after couple wears seemed to give a bit & feels great now. I am 5’5, 120 lbs and ordered the US size 6. I Love it!
