My First Veronica Shearling Bootie
I haven’t worn a Frye boot since my sister bought a pair in high school. I’ve looked over the years but it just didn’t seem to workout for me with the right color or size since I have a small narrow foot. It seemed like I had finally met my match, however, I wasn’t sure of the boot height. But “the shearling lining sold me” when I tucked my pants inside and it hugged my ankle in place, whereby my heal moved into the space provided where there isn’t any lining, creating the perfect fit for me! 🤸🏻♀️ I can wear with or without light weight socks and they’re also weatherproof, making this the ideal boot for me:)

Miss the back zipper version of these
I’m a big fan of shearling lined Frye boots & have just about worn my old cognac pair that had a zipper up the back out. I have this pull on version in gray & rarely wear then. I have a bad ankle from a crush injury 18 years ago & Frye was the first quality boot company to make shearling lined leather boots I loved & could wear. The pull on is problematic for me due to random swelling & occasionally needed to wear my lightweight ankle brace in them. These are also not as comfortable as the older version. I miss the variety of shearling lined boot options & last winter I bought the over the knee tall Veronica shearling lined since my old ones were wearing out. Also not the same soft leather quality; they’re super stiff & the sole is also stiff hard plastic like rather than soft rubber true tire-like lug sole with very little flexibility or traction & a hard footbed, whereas the original version was flexible leather boot, great cushioned foot bed & true lug soles with excellent traction. Had I known they reduced the quality I would not have bought 2 pair. The old versions of this boot & the tall boot used to sell out so fast. I kept them hoping they’d wear in better but they haven’t & are problematic walking on ice & slick surfaces, so they sit in my closet taunting me. Also miss the buckle detail around the ankle on the new version of the over the knee high ones.

Love my Veronica shearling bootie.
Love my Veronica shearling bootie. They are so comfortable and warm. This is my second pair in a different color. I ordered the Cognac a half size up so that I can wear them outside with thicker socks. I wear them around the house during winter, because my husband keeps the temperature at 70 degrees.

Veronica Shearling Boot
What is the easy wy to put these boots on because, there isn't a zipper?? I purchased a pair and I have difficulty putting on the boot. It takes me ten to fifteen minute to get the boot on. HELP!
