Cracked after two wears

I loved these sandals at first; very comfortable, perfect fit, super flattering. Unfortunately on only the second wear, one of the straps that goes over the toes developed an unsightly crack in the plastic coating on the pleather. I don’t see a way to repair them that won’t make it look worse. I do not recommend these shoes because the quality doesn’t match the price point.
