Beautiful gown

This dress is beautiful! It is definitely formal - the dark plum color is definitely black tie appropriate. I’m 6’ tall and in bare feet (with the dress strap on the longest set button) it dragged on the floor. Which was great! It’s tough to find a truly floor length dress at my height
