I got these for my 18 year old daughter's birthday. She's been wearing them every day and loves them. The classic design reminds me of my youth but looks modern. She says they're very comfortable.

Great Boots!!
I've had my 1460s for a little over a year now and I love them so much! The break-in process took a while, and I mean a WHILE but they're so much better once broken in. I would recommend wearing two pairs of socks and maybe leaving the top couple of eyelets free when breaking them in. The smooth leather is very stiff but looks pretty good (I'm a bigger fan of the softer leather DMs can come in personally) and they have creased nicely over time. There was a bit of bubbling on mine and one of the boots has a minor tear in it, but honestly having that kind of wear is part of the vibe in my opinion. If you wanna get into wearing Docs I would definitely recommend these, but you could consider getting the same boot in the nappa leather for an easier break-in process and (in my opinion) a better look!! :) (Oh yeah, I would go with one size smaller then your normal shoe size. These tend to fit a little bigger than other shoes. I'm a UK 8 normally but I got a UK 7 in these boots and they fit perfectly)

Do not recommend - terrible quality
I am extremely disappointed in these docs, I've been dreaming of owning a pair for more than 5 years and finally bought some for myself in April 2024 as a birthday present for myself. 11 months later, a hole has worn into the left boot and I can see that the material is definitely not leather, its closer to fabric thats been painted black. I regularly conditioned my boots using the Dr. Martens basalm and took care of these shoes that I thought would last me for upwards of 3 years. I'm so disappointed because I love the look of docs and had heard good things about them but the quality in the past few years has tanked.

It is better to chose the right size
It's being hard to break them in despite I've been wearing them almost every day because I like the way they match with the work uniform , nevertheless I wish I had chosen my real size US9 but end up getting US8 thinking they were going to stretch which is a false theory in my opinion and experience. It hasn't been a pleasant experience at all.
