Good but not great

Without SPF, the balm attracts the sun to my lips. Limits my use outdoors during the day.

I received this lip balm as a gift, and while I’ve really enjoyed using it, I’m not sure I’d purchase it myself. The texture is lovely- it’s smooth, lightweight and very hydrating without feeling sticky. It gives a nice natural sheen and makes my lips feel soft and protected, especially in the colder weather. The packaging feels luxurious, and you can tell it’s a premium product. However, for the price, I expected something a bit more transformative or long lasting. It’s definitely a treat rather than an everyday essential. I’m grateful to have received it because it feels indulgent and beautiful to use, but I can’t help thinking there are other lip balms out there that perform just as well for a fraction of the cost. A nice luxury experience overall, but not quite worth the hefty price tag in my opinion.

Great presentation, okay product, but

Great presentation, okay product, but for the life of me, I have no idea why it is so expensive. Wildly overpriced. And this is from a woman not afraid to invest in a product if it is worth the price point. This is not.

Not a big fan

I bought it as it’s winter . My whole family’s lips are in a right state at the moment . I was considering purchasing la mer one but came across this one so this was my pick. Sadly does nothing. For the price I would expect something MUCH better !!! It doesn’t stay on your lips for long and doesn’t leave them well hydrated. I take my daughter to school , back after 20-30 minutes my lips are dry again, the product is gone and I am not happy at all . Big disappointment!!! The best lip balm I ever had was bobbi brown lip balm !

A Luxe Essential

Dr. Barbara Sturm’s lip balm is an excellent product, deeply nourishing, smooth, and everything you’d want in a high quality lip treatment. It’s definitely something I’d repurchase and recommend, you really can’t go wrong with it. That said, while it won’t affect my rating, I do think there are similar performing products available at a lower price point for those on a budget. If you’re looking to splurge on a luxurious lip balm, this one is a great choice.

Wonderful!

Can’t live without. Best part is I use it maybe twice a day because I don’t feel like I need it more . It goes in and helpsy lips stay smooth and nice
