Opens up very buttery and powdery and didn’t match much my taste. But after two hours I smelled wood and spices and the amber warmth shining through. Definitely a cute one, not a safe blind buy as it is still specific.I want to compare this one to Sana Jardin Sandalwood Temple and Byredo Super Cedar. If you have one of these you probably don’t need the other. ST is the most buttery, woody and cozy one while SC is the sweetest of them. Tam Dao is a safe middle with a bit of green in the dry down but still ambery warm. But it is still mainly sandalwood forward and pretty easy to dupe within my collection.

Lasts all day
This is a lovely scent that lasts all day. It is unisex so can be worn by both men and women. The Diptyque scents stand out and this one is no different. I have purchased a bottle as a christmas present and I know the recipient will be pleased. This would make a great gift for someone special.

I think all of the Diptyque scents are so unique, and after falling in love with L’eau Papier I wanted to try Tam Dao. In my opinion these have the same clean but warm and comforting dna. Tam Dao is more woody but it’s not a crisp wood, it’s subtle and comforting scent

It is animalistic, incaptivating, seductive, unpologetical, potent, unique and strangely makes you feel even more feminine, although it is unisex. It is so dry, mysterious, triggering, provocative, completely unreal! Animalistic, beacuse of the musk, feminine because of the rose and addictive because of the spices!

Beautiful unisex scent
A creamy woody and fresh scent, works for both genders. I find this fragrance really calming and I sometimes spray it before bed. The one thing I really love about Diptyque is all its scents smell so natural and realistic, never synthetic - and the same goes for this Tam Dao perfume.
