Floral that is not overpowering
I am Jennifer, a retail beauty consultant of over 12 years specializing in skincare. I also love fragrances, so I'm excited to try this Decorte Kimono Urara! This fragrance is described as a fresh floral, which is absolutely on point here. The prominent scent notes that I detect here are musk and floral. There are subtle spicy notes in the background. I tend to stay away from heavy floral scents, but this one is nicely balanced with other scent notes and I enjoy it very much.This fragrance would work well for day or night wear. I would gladly wear this to the office during the day or for a night out on the town. All of these scent notes together work very well! Sultry & Sexy
I think this is such a fun fragrance and it honestly reminds me of Yves Saint Laurent�s Illicit Green Fragrance with citrus, and musky notes when first applied. If you wait for it to sink in, it starts to smell like sweet vanilla & plums. I love scents like this for winter and fall as it adds a classy but cozy festive feel. Grapefruit gives natural wake me up energy! Love this one
As soon as I smelled this delightful fresh clean scent I could tell it had notes of grapefruit and it gave me an instant sensation of Wake up and Go! I cant say another scent has given me a pep in my step but this one is my favorite out of all 5 that Decorte has to offer. I will in the future look for anything with Japanese plum because of how much Im in love with it. I have been a hairdresser mor then a decade and I can not say that this makes me think of any other skin or haircare line no matter which essentials oils they use. I put this all over the front of my hair so I could have the energy burst all day. And I did get an immediate compliment �Oh you smell good� as I leaned over my clients throughout the day. Love that! Decort� Kimono Rin was a therapeutic experience for me, thanks to Vetiver. The combination of vanilla, floral and fruity notes created so much sweetness, especially the Japanese Plum. It took me back to my childhood memories at the candy store. The grapefruit actually shouted right out at me and although flowery isnt always my favorite thing in the world I loved the freshness of the Lilly and Rose. Sometimes when I see Rose on the ingredient list Im afraid of something being grandma-ish but this was quite the opposite light young and fresh. Perfect for a date night or just a day at the salon, where I wore it all day and my clientele said Oh you smell nice. Burst of Fruit Then Understated Lily
Fragrance is an integral part of my routine, and I�ve been a Scentbird subscriber for years because it allows me to experiment without making a large investment. Even as a professional beauty writer, I rarely get an opportunity to review fragrances, so I especially appreciate the chance to share my first impressions of Decort�s Kimono Urara. �Fragrance Profile: Kimono Urara opens with a bright burst of citrus fruit, and the lemon and grapefruit scents are the most prominent. After a few minutes, the Japanese Water Lily takes its cue, and warm musk rounds out the scent after 10 minutes or so. If you like to refresh your fragrance during the day, you could easily do that without worrying about leaving a perfume trail behind you.Where I�d Wear It: The clean, fresh fragrance is ideal for daytime and would be fine to wear to work on a daily basis. For me, this would be a good choice for early spring or anytime I�d be in close contact with other people because it�s very subtle.Atomizer: This smooth operating atomizer dispenses a steady mist that actually worried me initially. Beautiful floral scent

I was really excited to try this luxurious Eau de Toilette from this beautiful J-beauty brand and I love to share my first impressions about this fragrance. This is a very nice fruity and floral scent. Once sprayed on I immediately smell the refreshing grapefruit and Japanese plump but then it combines beautifully with the gorgeous floral notes of jasmine, rose and magnolia. It reminds me so much of my wedding bouquet with roses and jasmine. The scent keeps on evolving during the day and there is a hint of the warmer notes of vanilla and vetiver.
