I bought this necklace a month ago and I am so glad I did! I haven't taken it off since. It is the perfect size to wear with anything from a bathing suit to a work suit. I have always enjoyed wearing DY pieces but this necklace tops them all!

PERFECTLY DAINTY!
I purchased this necklace hoping for the cross pendant to land in the perfect spot on my neck....it landed exactly where I wanted it to. At the time I purchased the necklace, it was only available in the 16" standard David Yurman sturdy box chain. I have other pieces by David Yurman that have the 18" chain and approximately 3/4" to 1" pendants and they hang just a bit too low for when I wear a V-neck or button down shirts, leaving the pendant barely visible. This 16" chain is perfect! It's durable so there's very little worry that it'll break with wearing it for everyday use. The cross pendant itself is a bit lighter than some of the other David Yurman pendants, but it's still made with the excellent standards of a David Yurman piece. I love that it's dainty and delicate looking and it hangs at that perfect spot on my neck, in that slightly sunken in area just between my collar bone. Because of the shorter chain, this necklace is visible with almost any type of top, V-necks, crew necks and button-collared shirts. I really fell in love with the look of this delicate cross the moment I saw it. As with most jewelry, you're supposed to take it off each day when showering and applying creams or perfumes. I take very good care of my pieces, however, this necklace is sturdy enough and made with such excellent quality, that it could be left on and slept in daily if that's what you like to do. I'd definitely recommend this cross necklace to friends or others looking for an everyday piece of jewelry, especially a cross pendant, as it's not so large that it's overwhelming or screaming religion in any way. It's the perfect size 1" pendant that slides effortlessly along the chain. I imagine it will look even more stunning in the summer months once I have a bit of a suntan. Otherwise, it looks just perfect now so I've worn it every day since I purchased it. I also imagine that it can be worn with other necklaces if you like to layer your necklaces or wear different chain lengths at the same time. I'm very happy with my purchase of this cross necklace!
