Inconsistent toasting

After giving it a good try I review this toaster as not recommended. The brand name is meaningless in the case of this product. It’s poorly made and does not make evenly toasted toast, ever.

Great value for four -slot Cuisinart Toaster

The Cuisinart Toaster has an excellent price point among competing brands. Cuisinart is a name you can trust. This is my second four-slot Cuisinart toaster. I noted some differences which makes this experience different. The toaster lever must be softly lowered and held in the on position. Moving it down quickly will not engage the toaster. The lever will return to the up position. This creates a learning curve for the user. In all other respects it operates well with the same functionality including a selection for bagels and defrost.
