Intense

Delphinus opens with a bold mix of incense, almond, and pepper, then settles into a rich blend of orris, vanilla, and suede-like leather. It’s warm, smoky, and leans sweet, with a powdery floral edge. The drydown is smooth and long-lasting, but the opening can be intense. If you’re into smoky, leathery scents, this might be your thing, but I’d recommend sampling first to see if it suits you.​

my go to for occasions

I use this perfume occasionally and it is one of my favourites. It is really good at lasting on the skin and the fragrance notes do really appeal to me, it is quite creamy and you can tell the notes of amber really come through. It may be too strong for certain people but I spray it in minimal amounts and love the longevity.

Not for me

Tried this in store and I have to say on first spray this really reminded me of The smell of a soft drink like Dr Pepper. It’s very sweet. It did dry down to a more wearable scent however I’m not sure I would wear this as is a tad too sweet for my taste

Okay

This opens with a strong smoky-sweet almond blast that gently lands upon a soft, suede-like orris.The almond here is marzipan-leaning with notable cherry nuances,cherry, incensesy smell that might not be everyone's cup of tea.Not blind buy safe.Sillage is moderate within arms length and it doesn’t project heavy but the longevity is very good.
