Fits great but looks like a costume

This Cinq a Sept roxie lace-trim jacket fits great -- it's really flattering. However, the style looks like a "costume" rather than a jacket. The ivory-colored lace has a "Victorian" look to it - as if you were heading out to perform in a theatrical play set in the Victorian era. ... If the lace was black in color, it might be better and look less "costume-y." So, I hesitated about keeping it.
