Stitches break easy
Needs at least 3 more inches in depth Can’t lie on side without knees hanging way off the side. Only had this sofa 6 months Im the only 1 that uses it and I’m small 6’9”
Beautiful but lacking
Eyed the Oyster sectional for many years as well as testing out in the store many times prior to purchasing and being delivered July 2024. Looks beautiful in our home but my husband and I are very disappointed as it is not comfortable after having it for a little over a year now, and the chaise has a foot/leg in the middle of the seating that does not touch the floor...hoping it will eventually break in and touch the hardwood floor as this may not be an issue for a carpeted floor with padding. If you value aesthetics over comfort this sectional is for you...we were hoping for both.
Warped frame
Beautiful sofa design and leather. But when it was delivered and assembled, I noticed that half of the feet do not touch the ground. A technician came to fix it and told me that this is a common issue with this sectional and some customers’ legs are an inch off the ground. He said since mine was not as bad as theirs, that there was nothing to do but hope it would get better the more I sat on it. He left with no repairs. Very unsatisfying service for a couch this expensive. And if the couch is known to have manufacturing defects, why is Bloomingdales still selling it to customers? Disappointing, as I thought Bloomingdales furniture was reputable. I guess their standards have changed.
Worst Sofa Ever Purchased
Sofa looks nice in store but won’t last long at home! Leather will fade, stitching will eventually tear at seam, and product will quickly become garbage. It cannot be repaired and company cannot be reached for customer service.
gorgeous but not the most comfortable
this sofa is stunning. the leather is amazing. but after lounging on it for more than an hour I find it unsupportive and a little uncomfortable. I definitely can’t nap on it, but the cream is a stunning color. if you need a sofa that’s not your primary seating this is great.

After waiting about 6weeks we finally received the Couch. It’s beautiful. but as someone has mentioned that there was few spots with lose thread. and that makes me wonder if the whole thing is going to come apart.. otherwise, it’s very nice couch . the color is beautiful. the cushion could be little more firmer than i expected but overall we are happy with the choice.

Quality issues - Stitches falling off
I don't recommend this sofa. My experience is a nightmare at Bloomingdale's. I ordered this sofa in May 2022 and received July 2022. There was a hole in the dust cover, and Bloomingdales replaced it in August. After a few months, I found stitches were falling off in one area (Picture 1). A technician restitched it in Oct 2022, but I noticed it became loose again in March 2023 (Picture 2). This time the holes became bigger, and the leather got damaged. Another tech visited, took pictures, and left on May 19 without doing anything. Instead, he told me multiple patches got to be stitched not to damage the leather any further and to call Bloomingdale's for a replacement. I called Bloomingdales to follow up on what they can do to fix the issue, and the customer service rep told me the tech reported it as normal wear and tear, and it met the manufacturing standards at Bloomingdale's. She scheduled another technician to check again in June after a few minutes of argument(?) and insult. Unfortunately, I got this piece with many issues from the beginning, and still unresolved. I am more disappointed in Bloomingdale's accountability.
