I love this kettle! It works like a charm. We don't have to clean it at all since we use Britta filtered water. The only cleaning to do is the outside - which is normal dust collection. We have had this kettle for about 3 years now and it works great. Since it is glass, you don't have to worries like that of plastic and stainless steel kettles.

Great kettle for tea loving student. Daughter loves tea, I wanted one you could see through to make sure would not over heat for safety purposes.

Terrific!
I've had this tea kettle for almost a year now and I love it. It takes a bit of cleaning once in a while with a bit of vinegar and water and other than that, it's pretty foolproof. We use it daily and have had absolutely no problems with it. Terrific product!

Disappointing
Initially was very pleased with the look and operation of the kettle, but after a few months the plastic cover over the light switch fell off and then the chrome cover on the lid. Not worth the money.

Are you kidding me ? chemical taste and smell
The design is it's best feature. Unfortunately, the rubber ring around the heating element releases a chemical smell and effect the taste of the water I would give it 0 rating.
