DISAPPOINTING

I purchased the Brightening foundation because it was the closest thing I could find to BY TERRY Eclat Opulent which was 5 stars all the way! The CC Brightening is a huge disappointment. It goes on streaky. It does not blend well and the finish is mediocre at best. Worthless

I loved the Densillis makeup and was hoping this would be as good but I was disappointed. It was expensive but I have stopped using it.

Cakey

Unfortunately I have to return this. It sits so cakey on the skin, clings to every dry patch and shows every pore. I’ve tried with primer, without primer, with skincare, without skincare, with brushes, sponge and finger. I was told that this foundation was created by the same person of YSL touche eclat (which is my holy grail foundation!) but this is awful.

Sits cakey on the skin

I’m disappointed in this foundation. After being sold it in store I really didn’t like it when I got it home. The formula can sit cakey on the skin in places and it oxidised into a darker colour unless it is blended really quickly. It didn’t last all day and areas of redness appeared and caused my skin to break out..

All about the glow!

My second bottle of this - the first was slightly too neutral, so I bought another shade and the mix is perfect for me. The shades are very forgiving though. The brightening aspect of this is heavenly; I end up with a very even and clear canvas with this. I feel if you didn't have the clearest skin, this may not offer enough coverage, but for my (now finally) pretty flawless skin, it's an absolute winner.

S'okay!

I switched out my Tilbury flawless filter to give this a whirl for the day. It provides as much coverage (it evens skin tone, although it won't hide freckles or pigmentation etc).It does last pretty well when combined with a primer and it is 'your skin just better' (I didn't feel like I was wearing any makeup all day!) My only negative is without providing any coverage I would want it to deliver more in the 'glow' department to compensate.

Glowy foundation

I have tried lots of different By Terry foundations. I like this one for the warmer weather as it has a dewy finish and is hydrating. There are lots of shades to try, I have samples of the 4N and 4W which are medium neutral and warm. I can wear both colours but feel I need some more natural colour on my face for the warm shade. The coverage is smooth and can be applied as a light coverage or you can build for a heavier coverage. I reduced 1 star as the price is more than I would normally spend on a foundation.
