Baseline Large 2 Wheel Duffel Bag
Product Details
Web ID: 4388806Large Duffel
Switched from a Tumi large duffel to Briggs and Riley. While well constructed, several comments: it's too heavy when empty, too large for airport check-in conveyor belts (have to turn it on its side), and needs more pockets on the outside of the bag.

It’s huge!
Bought this on line without actually having seen one IRL. felt confident buying it because of the rock solid quality of all their bags and based on an earlier (smaller) version of a similar bag which my wife had purchased about eighteen years ago and is still in fantastic shape. Hers however has way more pockets and ways to creatively pack it than this one which is basically one huge soft sided compartment, a smaller hard side area underneath and one other pocket on the side. Pros are the B&R amazing quality and the spaciousness of the bag. You can put almost anything in it. Con is the spaciousness of the bag and the fact that you will be tempted to put anything and everything in it which makes it difficult to stay within the airline weight requirements. If I was to do it again I’d probably opt for the medium duffle instead.

Adventure duffle
Took this on a Northern Lights photo visit to Alaska. Had to pack cold weather gear and boots. Temp was -20 degrees. Had room to pack everything I needed. This is my third duffle Excellent product

Excellent quality. Roomy. Great for a long trip or when several types of clothing and gear are required for the same trip.

A killer bag. Undestroyable. (Which is not a real word by the way…)
A killer bag. Made of the best materials that’ll beat any disgruntled union bag handler on his or her worst day. It packs a football team. So many pockets and places to hide anything vaguely illegal. The double bottom is obviously not a secret hiding place, but allows for OCD-level organization. This one lasts, if that’s not already clear. And in the marathon of luggage survival, takes the cake.

Durable travel partner.
I have had one of these large rolling duffels for about 8 years now. It has traveled with me to at least 12 different countries. It can hold an enormous amount of stuff, often weighing 60+ pounds. The only thing I wish it had in some instances is the ability to carry it like a backpack. I also have a B&R rolling garment bag, which is about 12 years old, which is fantastic,

Splurge on the BEST BAG EVER!
I bought this in both the large and medium sizes 18 years ago and am thrilled I splurged. As a flt attendant with hefty discounts on flights and Cunard cruises, I travel A LOT. The bags show no sign of aging! The handles and zippers are as smooth today as they were brand new, the stitching is top drawer, and the wheels are in perfect condition. Treat yourself to B&R luggage rather than buying cheap bags you will regret, and discard, after 3 flights. They are the perfect gift for yourself or for a graduate you love. If the house caught on fire, I'd grab my Briggs and Riley bags on the way out the door ~ and will be buying my third one soon for a world cruise. THANK YOU, B&R, for your commitment to excellence. Your luggage is the BEST and I'll never buy anything else!

I truly enjoy the sturdiness
I truly enjoy the sturdiness of the product as well as the functionality. I now have five of this product with one repair needed historically and one needing slight repair at this time. The product has proven for the most part to be utilitarian with the divided top and bottom sections along with the ability to have deep duffel. I miss not have the green option historically available but the black certainly maintains a cleaner appearance from the handling of the luggage than the green does.
