Impossible to get waffle out cleanly
This is the second time we’ve used this and followed the instructions to a T. Got this as a wedding gift and disappointed in the performance.

NOT a DEEP BELGIAN style
Not a true deep Belgian style waffle maker. Hard to remove from thos style.

So much easier than pancakes
Kids have asked for waffles for every breakfast now until the tell me to stop! Easy to use, no mess, and waffles never stick. So much easier than pancakes. Use a Weight Watchers recipe to keep them low fat and low sugar so a great breakfast option

If only it were easier to clean...
It makes great waffles, but I would love to be able to remove the waffrle plates to clean them better, and to clean the casing around the hinge. The non-stick coating works pretty well, until you throw in a few blueberries, etc.

Non Stick - No Burned Waffles for Real
Works as advertised! Just set the temp and wait for the beeps. It tells you when the waffle iron is at correct temp, add correctly formulated waffle batter per instructions, then wait for it to beep when the waffle is done. Remove, reload, repeat. Simple! Perfect waffles from the first one. Use a wooded or other soft spatula to lift waffle off iron so you don't scratch the non-stick surface. Clean up is super easy. Overflow gutter is a great feature and works well to keep things clean.

I truly love this machine, my kids grew up with the basic machine. This was my birthday gift from my husband. So easy to control temps etc now. A much more even cooking & colour

Doesn't always work
Have owned for a year, but every so often either the top or the bottom doesn't heat, or doesn't heat fully and the waffles don't cook on one side and stick. Sometimes turning the machine off and back on works, but sometimes it doesn't, which ruins our breakfast
