Operated by a single touch, the fully automated tea basket moves down and up to gently agitate the leaves and allow the water to circulate around them, precisely infusing the hot water with just the right amount of flavor. Have Not Used It Yet To All Of It’s Potential. So Far Only Using It For Hot Water Heats Up Water Pretty Quick But It Could Be A Little Hotter After Heating Up

LOVE this thing!

I bought this Tea Maker 15 years ago and never looked back. At first, I had issues spending this kind of money on myself or my morning cup of tea, BUT this machine has been revolutionary for me - a perfect cup of tea brewed to my specifications every time! My only complaint? Breville only makes these in stainless steel, not the beautiful colours they use of the kettles. Mine is probably due for an upgrade - after 15 years it is showing signs of wear despite taking care of it - and I am thinking about replacing it. Would love for it to match my other Breville appliances and my wife's stunning espresso maker, but alas, no love for tea drinkers - we are stuck with stainless steel.

Great features

I received my first Tea Maker for Christmas in 2012. I used it almost daily and love all the features as I make black, green and herbal teas. I burnt out the element a month ago (heating up some berry pulp, a no-no) so I had to order a new one. Using it as directed it may have lasted another 13 years! This replacement sparkles more than my original and is holding up well so far!
