Loud coffee maker :(

This is our first Braun item and it looked pretty when I took it out of the box but our feelings about it changed when it was time to brew. The machine is too loud and makes a popping sounds and it is very annoying. We wanted to like this one but couldn't understand why it had or was making all the popping sounds when brewing. My husband made a joke about it and said if it was going to take off like a rocket. LOL. Almost all of the reviews were incentivized so not sure how many of them used it before writing the review. Anyway, maybe it was just my machine. But sadly its going to be returned. We've had good luck with Cuisinart coffee makers, so we may just go back to that brand.
