The original beauty blender is pretty average compared to other beauty blenders out there. Whilst it does blend the product out well on the skin it also lifts the product a lot, especially cream based products. It also ripped easily so overall, I do not recommend this blender.

Good!
If you want foundation (or cream base makeup) to look as smooth, natural and blended as possible — like skin rather than makeup — a Beautyblender is a worthwhile, almost “essential” tool. It works especially well if you don’t love brush strokes or streaky finish. On the other hand, if you mind using a bit more product, or dislike frequent cleaning, you might lean toward a brush or a simpler sponge.

The GOAT
I have never found another sponge or brush that compares to a beauty blender. Yes, they probably do waste product by absorbing it, but they blend foundation, liquid blush and concealer so beautifully. I prefer the nude one as it looks less grotty than the pink one when it's been used a few times!

Forever a repurchase!
No other beauty sponge or make up brush compares to a beauty blender. I don't know what it is about a beauty blender, but it just blends my foundation and liquid blush beautifully. The only thing I would say is I feel like I replace mine fairly often because I never feel like I can get it properly clean (that might just be a 'me' thing!

Always Repurchase
Absolutely love these Beauty Blenders, I always repurchase. I have tried alternatives however nothing cares to this one for application. Easy to use, I prefer to use warm water and then squeeze out before applying foundation and concealer with these. The nude colour is my favourite as it hides the colour of the foundation and looks less messy on vanity.

Love it!
I know loads of people say they are overpriced and that they don’t work or they absorb too much product but I think they are great and leave a gorgeous finish. Live it for cc cream or any other foundation. Live it for concealer too, and blush and bronzer.

A late convert to Beauty Blenders
I am a late convert to the use of Beauty Blenders - I had found in the past that they soak up a lot of product and wasn't convinced by the results. However after seeing one of the team in my local store using this to apply base and being very pleased with the results I purchased this. As I approach my 50th birthday I am finding it takes a little more effort with my dry skin to get my makeup to apply smoothly and look flawless and last. I use a good primer - either Tatcha liquid or Urban Decay and wait a good 5 mins before I apply my base. I use a mix of fingers, the Chantecaille flat foundation brush and the Beauty Blender. This really helps to buff in the product and get a flawless result. I wash every week as they do still absorb product and I tend to purchase a couple at a time.
