Wish the sizing had been correct (said 16 was clearly a 2 or 3X). I looked really hard for a replacement coat, to no avail, it was ultimately returned.

Just as I expected and Bloomingdale’s offered the best price. It arrived in a few days , faster than I would have thought.

Perfect modern raincoat
Absolutely love this rain jacket. Quality materials and feels so comfortable on. Fits oversized- I’m 5’3” and 140lbs usually a size 8-10 or M and got a size 6 in this coat and it’s roomy enough to accommodate a thick sweater underneath without being overwhelming at baseline. I just love the clean lines and modern look. No excessive zips, snaps, cords, etc. just a beautifully functional coat. The wide, stand up collar and hood are my favorite part of this coat. The hood has a brim and is adjustable (with some stiffness) so it stays out of your face and also keeps rain out. Love it, definitely recommend!

Received a Used Jacket
This review is for the Barbour Heron Long Line Waterproof Jacket in Olive, Size 6. Beautiful jacket, I'm 5'8" and found the sleeves were a bit short and the hood didn't provide substantial enough coverage. Otherwise, loved it! I received my jacket and was immediately concerned. There were no tags, it arrived in a dry cleaning bag with a barcode taped to a hanger and it smelled Heavily of women's perfume and detergent. Having never ordered from Bloomingdale's before, I assumed it was some specialty garment care, so I eased my worriment. However, the odor was so overpowering I kept it somewhere to hopefully air it out. When I wore it the next day, I put my hand in the pocket and found a quarter. I knew instantly, it was as I had feared. I received a used jacket! After speaking with 3 customer service agents I learned the Jacket was no longer available in Size 6 and they offered me a 20% discount - equal to $50, or to return the jacket. I will be returning the jacket and the quarter.

Barbour is Best
Beautiful jacket, perfect dark navy. The length is ideal for cold, wet weather. I ordered my normal size and it is on the larger side. Unless you plan on layering thick sweaters and tops under the jacket, it would be appropriate to order one size down. I love the extra room however.
