Lost/Stolen Package

This experience was incredibly frustrating. I was in Tennessee for my father’s funeral, and tragically, my mother passed the day after. I ordered a dress and handbag for her service, paying extra for 1–2 day delivery. UPS failed to deliver to the house—instead, they sometimes leave packages tied to a tree down the street. My friend and I searched, but it was gone. His home has seven security cameras, so had it been delivered properly, it would’ve been recorded. I reported the loss to Bloomingdale’s and Balmain but could never speak to anyone in the U.S. and was denied a refund of $1,400. Even visiting a local Bloomingdale’s didn’t help. I couldn’t reach anyone beyond a call center. I strongly advise against ordering expensive items online—if lost, there’s no accountability or support.
