Strong Chemical Odor Still Unbearable After 6 Mo

This is by far one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made for my baby. The moment we opened the box, we were hit with an extremely strong, toxic chemical smell. It was so bad that it made our eyes tear up and made it nearly impossible to breathe. I couldn’t believe something designed for babies would be made with such unsafe materials. Even after six months, the smell is still there—trapped inside the cabinet. We’ve tried everything—airing it out for weeks, cleaning it, using odor removers—but nothing helps. The odor is still sharp, overwhelming, and absolutely not something I would expose a baby to. This product is a health hazard. It should not be on the market, especially not for nursery use. Shame on the manufacturer for allowing something this harmful to be sold to parents. I strongly urge others to stay away from this product. It’s dangerous, disgusting, and completely irresponsible.

Do not buy

I had a terrible experience purchasing this dresser from Bloomingdale’s. The item arrived with missing pieces, and after spending three hours attempting to assemble it, I contacted customer service for assistance. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke to seemed unable to understand my concerns or provide clear answers. When I asked about my options, they initiated a return without my authorization instead of explaining possible solutions. Now, I’m left waiting to see if they will recharge my credit card or the gift card I used for the purchase. Despite my efforts to clarify that I did not approve this return or any charges to my credit card, rather than the gift card I used, it’s unclear if my concerns were understood. Stress caused by Bloomingdales is the last thing I need during pregnancy. This is, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. I do not recommend buying furniture from Bloomingdale’s.

damaged

Product came damaged on the bottom. Pretty large chip and the dresser will be facing that way right when you enter the baby room, so we’re disappointed.

Pleased with the Yuzu changer dresser

We love the dresser and it looks great in the room. We did find that one of the pieces behind the drawers came off during assembly. It's not an essential piece since it's behind the drawers, but it as a little surpiring.

Long process to put together

I would have rated it higher, however, it took several hours long to put the item together. Directions There are over 30 pages of directions and over 50 parts in the box. In addition, directions without text are not user friendly. Overall it looks nice and reflects the price paid. I am savvy with tools and found the process to put this together very cumbersome.
