  • How To Use It

    For optimum usage, on cleansed, dry skin, smooth two pumps over the face, neck and décolleté morning and evening. In upward sweeping motions, massage the cream along your jawline. Sweep from your nose to your ears and across your forehead and massage cream over the cheeks to your temples. Apply from the base of the neck to the tip of the chin and take any excess cream and massage over the décolleté.

Lovely

I received a 15ml of this product in a box set. I really like this. It soaks on lovely. It has a light but nourishing texture and feel to it. It layers very well under make up and spf. It feels clean and does not aggravate sensitive skin. Two pumps does go a long way and feels sufficient to cover the face. I would buy this again and my skin tone is more even and I feel more hydrated.

Amazing

I received a decent size sample in a gift with purchase. I absolutely love it. I’ve only used at night and in the morning my skin feels hydrated and smooth. I would give it 5* for the benefits but defected a date as so expensive. Tempting though as would be a good investment for my dry mature skin.

Didn't see lasting difference

Cream felt lovely to apply and absorbed quickly but unfortunately I didn't see much of a change in my skin. I also didn't feel like it had a lasting impact, it was just nice to use in the moment. Given the price I have used other luxury products that I would prefer to invest in.

Pricey

Great choice if you: Are willing to invest in a premium skincare product and expect it to be a long-term part of your routine. Have dry or mature skin, or skin that needs texture smoothing, plumping, intensively hydrating, or multi-benefit support (rather than just a basic moisturiser). Want a luxury product that also feels nice on application (texture/packaging/experience) and you value that extra “feel” factor. Are looking for a general “repair/support” cream rather than a cheap quick fix.

Not for sensitive skin

I tried Augustinus Bader The Cream for several days, eager to like it after the disappointment with The Rich Cream. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for me either. My sensitive skin reacted badly, breakouts appeared, and oddly it didn’t feel properly moisturised either. Considering the hefty price, I expected much more. Sadly, this one’s a miss for my skin.
