Very pretty but way too long

Bought a couple of dresses for upcoming black tie wedding. I’m 5’5” and 130lbs and I purchased a size 4. It is a little big and very long. I would have to get it hemmed which drives the price even higher. Strangely the arm hole was a bit tight so I was nervous about sizing down. Returning mostly because of the length. Very pretty dress though. I think a size 2 would have been better.
