I have several pairs

These are the shorts that fit me best of any I’ve tried. I have several pairs in many colors. I’m about a 28 waist, 40 hip, 5’6”, 150lb. Typical size is a 28 and I usually get 27s in this. Probably could fit in a 28 too if I wanted it looser but I like it more fitted on my waist and I like the extra room for stretch with more wear as it is true denim. The best! The black color is sort of faded dark grayish and I love the color. Highly recommend!
