great cut and very comfy, but a little thin

These jeans are beautifully cut and fit great. Low rise but not too low, and I really love the leg opening, which is called "straight" but is actually a tad boot, as you can see in the side-view picture, so it looks good with all kinds of shoes. (I have been finding a lot of so-called "straight leg" jeans to be more like "skinny" at the ankle and am tired of it.) They do run a bit big, although I find that I can try on several pairs of the same jeans marked with the same size and they all fit me a little different, so your mileage may vary. I tried on two pairs of these AGs, a size 25 and a 26. I normally wear a 26 or 27 in CoH jeans (I have two pairs of CoH Ava jeans, one 26 and one 27, and they fit me about the same), but I actually needed a 25 in these, and the fit is perfect. The fabric is very, very soft and doesn't cut anywhere, which is really nice. I also like the color, which looks comfortably broken in but doesn't go overboard on the whiskering. I had to give them only three stars, though, because they do stretch out while I am wearing them, which is kind of annoying, especially at this (VERY high!) price point. They are great right out of the dryer but not for long once you have 'em on, and I have only had them for about a week and a half, so I am less than optimistic about how they will wear over time. Maybe not a lot of bang for the buck. I recommend these if you just really want an awesomely cute and comfy pair of jeans, don't mind a little (or more than a little) stretching out, and are OK with dropping a pile of money in the process. I really love the jeans and they look fantastic on, but I am not optimistic for the future.
