Feels Oily

I am reviewing this product after receiving a 15ml sample. I have tried quite a few 111Skin products and have liked them, but found this day cream leaving my skin feel like it an oily film on the top. I even sampled it without my daily vitamin C underneath, but it was still the same. On the plus side, there’s no scent to the product. Sorry 111Skin, this was not for my 53 year old normal to dry skin.

just not worth it

I can't understand the reviews for this product. I've used this consistently for a few weeks, and I can't work out why anyone would repurchase it. It is pleasant to apply, smells quite nice and leaves an attractive light satin sheen to the skin. However, it does not hydrate or nourish skin effectively and I expect a moisturiser to manage at least one, preferably both of these. I have noticed no noticeable calming or anti-ageing effects. If you have skin that needs little or no moisturiser (what used to laughably be called normal skin, when it is anything but), and have £175 to spend on something that leaves a nice slight sheen on the skin but does little else, then maybe you are their target market.

Best for oily or combination skins

I had a 15ml sample of this cream, so enough for several uses. My face is dry and prone to dehydration and I found this too light for me in autumn and early winter. Maybe it would have been enough in summer. But, my neck skin is less dry, and also where I am showing signs of ageing, so I used this sample there. I found it perfectly pleasant to use, nice texture, no strong scent, no pilling under sunscreen. But I can’t say I fell in love such that I could justify buying this to use as my regular neck moisturiser.

Nice start

This cream is a great part to use for your daily routine in the morning. I have oily skin, and other kinds of moisturizers seem to enhance this problem but the repair day cream does not.

Overpriced

While I do really like the smell of the Y Theorem line from 111SKIN, that's about the only thing which sets it apart from other moisturisers and creams. It absorbs well but it doesn't have any effect. A basic cream would suffice instead of this (and would save you over a hundred pounds).
