Tight and Runs Small

I have no idea who this brand's bathing suits are designed for. I am 5'2, 125 lbs and semi curvy. Tried sizes x-small, small and medium. The medium is so tight, its laughable. For context, I'm a size small in the majority of other swim brands (Monday Swim, Frankie's Bikinis, etc). Quality is also meh for the price. This could easily be a swimsuit from Forever 21.
