I hesitated about purchasing as I really wanted a pie server to match my “French Garden” pattern, but V & B apparently doesn’t make one. This simple design w/out flourishes is perfect for any pattern. Large & sturdy. Very happy w purchase.

Exquisitely elegant & great quality, affordable

I am very pleased & happy with this XXL Pie Server so far. Arrived in perfect condition, nicely packaged. I did not have another pie server, and I found this cake server very beautiful looking and useful. It feels very nice in my hand, it is ergonomically designed & built to fit in every hand size I think, has a nice weight in my hand, and it seems built to reach the middle of the round pies to get the entire slice out including the tip of the slice :). It is pretty thin, however the edges are pretty blunt, in case anyone might wonder before buying. I am not sure if it cuts the pie dough; it did not cut the sable breton biscuit base of the apple cake, so, most probably, a knife has to be used to cut the pies/cakes, and this is just to serve the slices as the name indicates. I find it gorgeous and a lifetime lasting piece for the home/families, it makes a great gift...I'd love to receive this as a gift!!! I would use it every day...even serve omelet with it :) , it is so good looking at the table,...this is my personal opinion. I hope you love it too.

Elegant but simple design

I started to purchase many of the Villeroy & Boch serving utensils. A super elegant look for special parties. They are LARGE and dish out decent portions. Beautiful yet simple design.
