Tiny dish smaller than expected

This is a very tiny dish good for jam or something served in very small quantities. I bought it as a gift and will still give it to the person, but not sure how much use she will have out of it. I expected it to be just a little bit bigger. Otherwise, it looks nice and matches the cups my gift recipient already has.
