Great quality, stylish, and holds up well

I’ve been using the Villeroy & Boch 40-piece silverware set for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really happy with it. The design is clean and modern, but still classic enough to go with different types of dinnerware. The pieces have a nice weight — not too heavy, not too light — and they feel comfortable to hold. What I appreciate most is the quality. The finish is smooth and polished, and even after several runs through the dishwasher, everything still looks shiny and new. No rust spots, no bending, and no signs of wear so far. The set includes service for 8, so it’s great for everyday meals and when guests come over. Everything was well-packaged and arrived without any damage. If you’re looking for a silverware set that’s well-made, looks good on the table, and can handle daily use, this one’s definitely worth considering.

New design is cheap

I have always been a fan of V&B but this set is cheaply made. It basically melted in the dishwasher and all the fork tines are uneven. The set I bought in 2005 is far superior. Disappointing.
