I first used the dishes

I first used the dishes at a Christmas dinner at our church. I had so many compliments on them. I’ve used them many times already and will use them for our family Christmas dinner. I love the design with the Christmas tress and the red cardinals and, also, like that they are dishwasher safe.

I am aware that the

I am aware that the trees on the plates are a darker green than the color on the pottery plates and on closer inspection I see where the tree motif is actually a decal. I realize that they are melamine and that probably is not conducive to bring painted. So overall I like the product since it won’t break and the cost is less but Would like the tree color to be like that of the pottery item
