Quality is Lacking

I really like the Theory aesthetic, but they cut corners at every opportunity. This jacket is lined (hey, I wouldn't put it past them - they sell unlined wool pants, after all), but the pockets are fake. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I had already taken the tags off, so there was no returning it. Would they pull this crap on a men's jacket? Maybe - they are SUPER cheapo - but I doubt it. This is some BS "women don't want bulk" garbage. It is insufferable. Stop patronizing women. Stop assuming that our looks are all that matters. GIVE US POCKETS. I earned the money to buy this garment. I did so with my brain, not my hips. Just one more reason not to buy from this brand. Two stars for aesthetic, and the fabric is nice.

Do you know that the pockets are usually lightly sewn shut on higher quality jackets and you must open them yourself? I see comments like these relatively frequently and it seems that younger women often don’t know this and they are aggravated about “fake” pockets.
