I bought this razor as a gift for my partner a couple of years ago and he says it's the best razor he ever used. He says because of the weight of the handle you aren't pressing the razor into your beard to get a close shave plus the weight makes it easier to maneuver the razor. He loves it so much he asked for another one to keep in our summer residence. It's a little expensive but a once in a lifetime purchase, (unless you have more than one home), you won't be disappointed.
