As pretty as it is functional

I have the same size in blue, and it’s both pretty and functional. This cocotte is one of my most used kitchen tools. This lovely pink one is a gift to a graduate setting up her first kitchen.

Love My Staub Enameled Cast Iron Pot

Staub continues to deliver a wonderful product. This is my 4th cast iron pot and I love it! The dark interior hides any discoloration that occurs over time. This yellow pot is a warm and charming accent on my range.

First Staub

This was my first Staub andmy first thought was did I wait to get the first one?! It had great heat distribution and retention. The color is gorgeous and it makes my happy to see it on my stove. The dish I prepared required high to low temps, and I had to take it off the heat while the burner cooled to low (1960s cast iron burners can retain heat too - LOL). With the heat retention, there was no interruption to the cooking. The dish came out great and i was so pleased with the performance. The size is perfect for how I cook for a family of two who likes leftovers. Still nervous about the enamel coming from metal/iron pans. It will just be a learning process, and keeping husband with his steel pads away from it. 8)

One of the best and versatile Dutch oven.

One of the best pots I ever have. Big enough for making one pot dinner for a family of four, it has tall wall and wider bottom than regular cocotte, very versatile, can be used for not only for making soup, but also for searing, stir fry, even deep fried.

My First Staub and Not My Last

This was my first Staub piece and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. The functionality is superior to anything I have used to date in my culinary history, and I was thrilled with the option of a mid-range size that works for my small family. I’m looking forward to adding more to my collection soon.
