What color would you expect the sheets to be?

I love Sky brand sheets but when I opened these up I was surprised that the sheets weren’t white. They look white in the phot but the are a beige, but the pillowcases look a little more white. It is not a pretty combination of a pretty grey scallops beige/cream sheet. dyed. the
