Game Changer!!
I was blown away from the first time I turned this dryer on. I was not expecting the power and blew items right off of my bathroom counter with my test run. It is not nearly as loud as some bad reviews would have you believe, and its power is worth the noise it does make. The frizz fighter attachment is a game changer! I believe that the feature is UNDERsold by Shark. It should have the word “magic” in the name. The attachment essentially makes the dryer a flat iron, except so much better because it magically connects to the hair and lifts it against the metal- you don’t have to press at all. Other dryers attachments and buttons at first glance look hard to figure out. But, whoever designed the packaging and sticker labels should win an award. When unpacking the dryer each question you have is answered before you can finish your thought. The instruction stickers are expertly placed, and I didn’t even need to watch a video to figure out how to operate the dryer.

Not user friendly
I found this was quick drying, but too much. My hair was all knotted. The controls should be in the front not under your hand in order to adjust. Didn't have a cool touch button, unless you moved your hand and turned the heat off and then went back to drying your hair, which you have to do every time your want to set your style. I just can't stop every time to do this constantly. The attachments just didn't work for me, very awkward.

Wish I Never Bought It
My hair looks frizzier and dryer than ever before after using this dryer. I can’t believe there’s any hype associated with this product. It does absolutely nothing except crisp up your hair and leave it looking dull and lifeless. Will never purchase a Shark product again.

you CANT FIND the pro flex lift and stretch comb
I brought this dryer for one attachment only ...the speed style pro lift and stretch comb of course that attachment is not included in the bundle that I purchased but I was ok with purchasing it separately UNFORTUNATELY the attachment has been sold out since I bought the dryer I have looked for it everywhere on line and has been unsuccessful. I have also called shark and spoke to someone and he had no answers as to when it will return and directed to to search online at other sites I would not have brought this product id I knew I couldn't get what I really wanted

Shark SpeedStyle Pro FLEX Hair Dryer System HD542
The Shark SpeedStyle Pro FLEX Hair Dryer System, HD542, has been great. Easy to use, fast drying & lite weight. My hair isn't as frizzy on humid days. I received 4 attachments but only use 1. I feel really good about my purchase.

Good but not worthy!
My husband bought this hair dryer for my birthday, and don't get me wrong, the quality is good, but certainly not worthy it. It is super loud!! It got to a point that I had to use it while using ear plugs because my ears would hurt. I'm returning this one and maybe try the FlexStyle. Hope this helps!

Quiet and compact but powerful!
The fastest my hair has ever dried with a dryer! And I barely have to style it. No frizz like normal. It's quiet for the power it gives! Definitely a new favorite hair tool!
