Beautiful but unforgiving leather

I had high hopes that these shoes would be exactly what I was looking for. They're beautiful, and the buckle detailing is really distinctive, but the leather is simply so hard that there's no give in the shoe at all. Style without comfort—especially in a loafer at this price—doesn't work for me.
