These run small.

I wasn't sure about the sizing, so I called the Polo Ralph Laren customer service. She said that these shorts were relaxed, so I got the small. I am a size 4 in this brand's denim shorts. These were ok if I chose to wear them below the waist, but then they looked baggy. Not good. I also ordered a pair of same brand in medium. Different waistband. They fit perfectly. Both were to be worn as pajama boxer shorts. Returned the striped seersucker which were super cute, but too tight to sleep in. Kept the other pair.
