Versatile Accessory for my Le Creuset pans

This trivet is easy to store close to my stove and works well with most of my pans (the exception is my 7.5 qt. dutch oven). Its best use is after I have finished using the pan on the stove. If I want to put the pan back on the stove, it is sometimes (but not always) hard to release the trivet from the pan. The thing I like best about it is that I can use it under a warm pan on the table.

Buy it

I worried it was extravagant. It turns out it was necessary. I love the convenience of carrying my Le Creuset from kitchen to table. Immediately gave two as gifts.

Nearly burned the house down!

I loved this trivet so much! I kept showing it off to everyone while saying, "I've got to be careful not to accidentally put a pot into the oven or on the cooktop while it's stuck to the trivet." Famous last words...

Be careful!

Purchased with pan. Stored next to pan. Grabbed pan from shelf & didn't realize it stuck to bottom. Put on stovetop on simmer......eventually noticed smoke and nice wood smell.
