Great
I really liked this but I have noticed that my second bottle feels different in my hair . The first one was soft and melted into my hair and didn’t feel crunchy. This one makes my hair slightly sticker but it’s ok . Doesn’t give that much volume . But still ok . I might try the bumble and bumble instead .....

Huge Learning Curve
I tried this out because it’s supposed to add some ‘beachiness’ to the hair in the way a sea salt spray acts. The first time I tried it, i shook the bottle for a few seconds, then applied it all over my hair. It ended badly, my hair was stiff, crunchy, and piecey. It was then I did a little more research into the mousse and found I was using it wrong. First, you have to shake this bottle for a long time and you have to shake it HARD. You have to do this every time you use it since I assume some of the ingredients settle. Then, only use a golf ball size on the entire hair, maybe a bit more if you have longer hair. When I did my hair that way, it looked good. It’s not something to rave about, but it did give my hair that beachy vibe. I think I’ll just stick to Matte Waves and Grandiose Plumping for the beachy hair since it’s much much easier to work with.

Am I using it correctly?
I love Oribe products, but this one was a miss. Maybe I do not know how to use it, so I better pop into a store and ask. Haven't used mousse in years, I thought things would've changed after a decade or two. Nope, still leaves my hair sticky and crispy. Not for me. Smells amazing thought.

Works perfectly
Although the cost is high, a little goes a long way. I love what it does to my hair and it lasts. The scent is amazing, not too strong or weak.

Did I miss something?
I bought this thinking it would be a bit stronger than Grandiose. But I used it once and it left my hair extremely sticky, crunchy and like I had used glue in my (short) hair. I had to rinse it out after 10mins. I have not dared to use it again so far but it seems I either got a bad batch or something wet wrong going by the reviews and description.

Horrible
I love oribe products and this mousse sounded intriguing for summer...surf and tousled!!! It was so thick and made my hair so stiff. It was like putting glue in my haor...couldnt even get a comb thru it...horrible...this mousse would be good back in the 80s for a madonna rat nests look..lol...i returned and bluemercury fully refunded me

Best I've found
This product separates my curls, gives them added oophm and gets rid of the frizz. My hair does feel slightly 'crunchy' but it LOOKS great (not stiff). I have never bought the same product for curls twice, I'm always disappointed in some way but I'm on my second one of these.

Hair Make-over
This mousse used very sparingly on slightly damp or dry hair has transformed my wavy, fine hair from limp and a bit lifeless as if by magic. I needed texture, volume and shine and Surfcomer Mousse provided exactly that. The effect lasts for days. I use only a light moisturising spray or water to plump it up each morning no hairspray and it really is touch friendly. Fantastic product.
